Cake Decorating Intermediate

What you will study
- You will further develop your skills on covering a small cake and or cake dummy.
- Learn how to pipe with royal icing
- Continued development of piping with buttercream; rosettes, swirls, shells and waves to decorate cupcakes
- Create beautiful cupcake toppers
- How to make a small handbag using a small cake
- Further develop hand modelling skills

The basic equipment needed will be:

- 6” cake dummy, board and box
- Baby mould
- Garrett frill cutter modelling toolset
- Palette knife
- Piping bags and star nozzle
- Hand mixer with coupler
- Dowel rods

Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for those that have attended and completed the "Cake Decorating - Beginners" course or for individuals that are self-taught with a good understanding of existing materials and their uses and want to further develop their knowledge and skills.
