City Lit

City Lit delivers a programme of free, family learning workshops and courses in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, so that families learn together through exciting events and creative workshops as well as holiday activities.

Courses include Fun Time with Baby, Family Portraits and Story Bags and for adults we have Make Do and Sell, Stress Busting and Volunteering in your Community. We also offer free basic skills courses, improving your English, ESOL and Maths as well as opportunities for childcare qualifications –
so whether you want to to develop your existing skills or learn something new, this could be your first steps back into learning, getting new qualifications or a new career.

Because of family learning I am more confident and involved in my son’s schooling. I talk to more people, invite parents to the groups; my health and wellbeing has improved and I’m happier about the future.
