It was a night to remember last week at Woolwich Town Hall as the unsung heroes in our borough were recognised for their incredible efforts at this year’s Civic Awards. A total of 47 awards and small gifts were presented to residents and organisations who go above and beyond to support people in their communities from those who give free dental appointments to the homeless to young people helping the elderly.
