Our courses help you navigate the full recruitment process, including searching and applying for jobs online, CV writing, mastering interview techniques (including video interviews), and managing your digital footprint.
Workplace skills courses include essential transferable skills such as professional behaviour, safe social media use, customer service, office IT, emotional intelligence and resilience, and how to present yourself.
Career development courses teach confidence-building strategies to set goals, maintain motivation and manage stress. You’ll create personalised action plans that can turn your career aspirations into achievable steps.
We offer courses teaching specific skills and qualifications to secure jobs in office admin, civil and public service, education, health and social care, childcare and early years, customer service, accounting, or construction.
If you have a learning disability, our courses can support you to set goals for your career choice and identify the steps to achieve them. Our range of courses can teach you how to search for jobs, create applications, practice interviews, and prepare for the working world. Our training partner, Unity Works, is dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability.
Most of our courses are fully funded for Greenwich residents. You can check your eligibility when you book with one of our selected training partners. Most courses are taught in person with some online options available – you can discuss any specific needs you have when you contact a training partner.

Our courses teach construction skills including bricklaying, plastering, tiling, and decorating. You can complete a City & Guilds qualification in health and safety, and your CSCS card, making you fit to work on a construction site. Further training available in Level 2 plastering and retrofitting.

GLLaB offers residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich employability and skills support to secure a new job, including access to training and apprenticeships. Our services are also available to care leavers that were under the care of Royal Greenwich but now live outside of the borough.
