“The GLLAB team went beyond professional assistance. Our one-on-one fortnightly chats became a lifeline, ensuring my well-being during this challenging period. Thanks to their support, I attended a networking event and secured a part-time role at a Special Needs School in Central London.”

“When I came here 4 months ago, I was so low with my trust on myself and on my power.  GLLaB advisers helped me a lot to gain the confidence back.  It was a hard journey for myself, but GLLaB was there for me, and they helped me with my CV, with job search and with the interview preparation.”

“After many years of unemployment, I did not expect to secure a job so quickly. Your encouragement pushed me out of my comfort zone and into a new career that suits both my goals and my responsibilities as a parent. Thank you for your professionalism and for believing in me throughout my job search.”

“A pivotal moment in my journey was participating in a recruitment event organised by GLLaB. This event was more than just a job fair; it was an opportunity to engage with potential employers, learn about different roles, and network with industry professionals. The supportive atmosphere and guidance from the GLLaB team made this experience both informative and encouraging.”

“The whole experience of participating on the work placement scheme has been fantastic – from the skills centre training and working for the employer.”
