Gareth tells us his story:
I recently found myself unemployed and looking for help in making a career change. Someone pointed me in the direction of GLLAB to get the guidance and training I may on the way. GLLAB enrolled me on a few courses to get me started on my career journey. The courses were funded by the council and there was plenty to choose from. I selected CV writing to help me update mine, interview skills to calm the nerves and hints and tips to stay on track when asked questions and the career confidence courses to help me set goals and targets to aim for in my professional life. All the courses enabled me to focus better, be more confident and achieve my overall target of getting back into work as soon as possible. I have just started my new job as a driver.
