Many ways in which you can train to teach

Preparing to be a teaching assistant (TA)

Our courses are a comprehensive introduction to become a TA and prepare you for further training. Covers the essentials of safeguarding and supporting the well-being and development of children and young people. This course is also suitable if you want to work with young people with special educational needs.

Qualify to teach adults

Qualification course accredited to Level 3 covers all the essential elements of teaching adults in a community setting including roles and responsibilities, legal requirements, creating session plans & schemes of work, the theory behind teaching, facilitating groups, teaching styles and activities, and delivering assessments.

Course funding and training locations

Most of our courses are fully funded for Royal Greenwich residents. You can check your eligibility when you book with one of our selected training partners. Most courses are taught in person with some online options available – you can discuss any specific needs you have when you contact a training partner.

GCDA

Our range of courses help with employability through excel and bookkeeping skills, to an accredited Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Learn digital and finance skills for working within an administrative role. Study the essential elements to able to teach adults, leading to a qualification.
