Creative Writing for Wellbeing

You will try a range of activities to experiment with different types of creative writing. The activities are designed to unlock your imagination and promote creativity and confidence. You'll be encouraged to share your ideas and you’re writing with the class. You'll also be given the opportunity to receive constructive feedback from your peers and the tutor.
On the course, you will:
• apply techniques used by writers, such as imagery, sensory and descriptive language to your own writing.
• plan and write short stories, poems, or personal memoirs.
• discuss pieces of writing with sensitivity
• discover ways to share and submit your work Amanda, the tutor, will guide and support you throughout the course.

This course is FREE to all London residents. This is a course for all levels of ability, but you should have a good level of spoken and written English. You will be able to follow instructions, read information and work independently.
