Help shape the council’s Budget for 2026-27
We have launched a consultation asking residents to share their views on our Budget for 2026 to 2027. Like many councils across London, we are still feeling the long-term impact of government funding cuts that began back in 2010. At the same time, the cost of running essential services like care for older residents, children, and families who rely on the council’s support has continued to rise drastically. We have always managed our finances carefully and responsibly, but now we're facing a combination of pressures that make this increasingly difficult.
