Learning Opportunities for Carers

New training is available to help our borough's unsung heroes with everything from confidence to employment and wellbeing.

Greenwich Carers Centre, a charity which is central to our Carers Strategy, is dedicated to improving the lives of unpaid carers in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and beyond.

Up-Skill is an exciting new scheme run by Greenwich Carers Centre, in collaboration with MIND and Volunteer Centre Greenwich. The bite-size learning programme kicks off on 26th January with a course on Confidence and Assertion, followed by weekly sessions on Personal Development, Employment Skills,Psychology, Wellbeing and Caring.

The professionally taught courses will be run at Greenwich Carers Centre in Charlton throughout 2024, every Friday from 10:30am to 1pm and are free of charge.

If your'd like to take park in Up-Skill, contact Greenwich Carers Centre on 03000 3002233 or e-mail activities@greenwichcarers.org
