With Christmas parties, busy markets and shopping centres in full swing, sadly we also see increased instances of theft, burglary, drink-spiking and other potential threats. To help keep you safe this winter, we’ve compiled our top safety tips for the festive period.
Free lunches and holiday clubs for kids
Children aged between four and 16 and receiving benefit-related free school meals, can get a free holiday club spot this winter through Holiday Food and Fun. Free, nutritious meals for children and young people will also be available throughout the Christmas holidays across the borough.
