The course covers business operations, office procedures, essential management principles and internal business reporting.

The key objectives include fundamental knowledge and practical skills for effective business management, including basic management principles, planning, organising, leading, and controlling.

Learners will explore how to interpret financial data, prepare basic internal reports, and develop their financial and analytical skills. Topics will include cost behaviour and classification, budgeting and forecasting, and the role of management reports.

Learners will be able to understand the role and purpose of management accounting in business operations, identify and classify costs for reporting and control purposes, and prepare and interpret simple management reports, including budgets and performance summaries.
